Corporation, often referred to as Corp by locals, is an independent live music venue and nightclub located in city centre of Sheffield. Corp has established itself as one of the city’s major student clubbing landmarks – a reputation built through consistently high quality programming that showcases all strands of the UK's electronic music underground. In addition to hosting live music from touring bands, Corporation hosts club nights which play a variety of alternative, pop and rock music. The ever popular ‘Skool Disco’ on a Wednesday is the student go to event.

This glamorous cocktail bar/club has a large dance floor, live dancers dancing all night and a VIP lounge for when you’re feeling a bit classy. Offering 2-4-1 cocktails every night except Saturdays this is the place to go for mid-week cocktails and a boogie. This two-roomed venue has a fantastic main room, replete with exposed brick work. The bar room also doubles as a second room for club nights – and on the right night can feel like an absolute riot. It's all about affordable cocktails, live music and tonnes of neon as Players invites you to party the West Street way.

This stylish venue features exposed brick walls and a wood panelled bar with sofa’s, booths and a large dance floor. They host regular live music events and club nights played by some of Sheffield’s best-known resident DJ’s. Soyo also provides a very popular cocktail masterclass where you can learn how to create your own cocktails (and of course drink them). Check out the regular house, electronica and dance nights, plus big-name DJs and live acts. There’s a broad crowd that goes, but the common theme is that everyone has a passion for music. One of the best things about Soyo is that it always seems to be busy when you want it to be, but there’s always room to pull up a stool at the bar and nurse one of its natural cocktails.

A fantastic music venue situated on West Street open until 4pm every night of the week. Showing live local and touring bands every day of the week between 7pm-11pm and local cover bands on Friday and Saturday there is no better place to watch up and coming bands in Sheffield. It’s an intimate venue, with a killer D&B sound system, great staff and all the right components to create a special atmosphere. They showcase a diverse range of music and club nights to a warm and friendly crowd. Behind the bar they have a wide selection of drinks offers printed on A4 paper and plastered on the walls, you must see it to believe it. Their signature drinks to try are the infamous ‘Coco-Milko’ (an alcoholic chocolate milk) and if you’re feeling adventurous the ‘Chuck Norris Shot’ but be warned it comes with vodka and chilli powder.
35 Carver Street, Sheffield, S1 4FS
Viper is situated in the hustle and bustle of carver street and is aimed at a ‘quality-driven-dress-to-impress’ stylish crowd so don’t be surprised if you get turned away in white trainers. However, for all those who are lucky enough to get in this venue offers a split-level clubbing experience, with a cellar style nightclub downstairs and a cocktail bar with large dance floor upstairs. The venue has a 300 person capacity and is available to hire for events. Serving lavish cocktails, champagne, spirits by the bottle and a selection of VIP tables available for hire under reservations this is the place to go if you are feeling a little flush. One of south Sheffield best dance venues. Expect plenty of techno and electro alongside disco, dubstep and drum'n'bass — its main room is where it all goes down but, unlike quite a few clubs, you're likely to have just as good a time in its second space.

Home of Student Saturdays, Jump Around and Wonderland. You'll find electro, techno and disco music, as well as drum’n’bass and grime, pumping from the speakers. Code has a no-nonsense spaciousness that distinguishes it from other clubs, a sleek, dark dance cavern give plenty of space for dancing. Expect to party to straightforwardly good playlists; Code doesn’t pigeonhole itself, booking whoever it likes, so long as they’ll get people to dance, for this reason, there’s a weighting towards house and disco, spiced with techno. The residents are always amazing. Code is a cool nightclub and bar in the heart of the Sheffield. With different events on regularly, it is the perfect student venue, while cheap drink deals are the perfect excuse for going out on a Wednesday. But come round on the weekends and this party venue is open until the early hours of the morning.

A stylish, design-led space is about as far from pub or dive bar as you can get, with its clean design, geometric furnishings, and clusters of elegant seating areas. The wine and cocktail list that is carefully curated and alluringly presented. Tiger is renowned for its cocktail menu of the newly dreamt-up and long-perfected classics. Aspiring connoisseurs and mixologists can also book into learn how to mix their own with an expert masterclass. The club that is split up into 5 rooms, Main Room, Sparkle, House of Gin, The Attic, and The Lounge. Crystal has hosted some of Sheffield biggest DJs, you will find electro, techno and disco music, as well as drum’n’bass and grime, pumping from the speakers. A sumptuous menu of classic cocktails with a twist, it's got the ultimate atmosphere for those looking for a fun night out.
